Executive Producer

Styrk Jansen

Founder

Styrk has worked for networks like TV3 (Scandinavia) and TVNorge as an executive producer and project manager. He has served in the same capacity for production companies like Wegelius Television and Strix. He is the Executive producer  –producer for Basic TV, and has produced several documentaries like "Norway at war" and "Home of the brave – Land of the free", in addition to developing factual–series.

Producer

Gard Aleksander Andreassen


Gard has worked as a line producer on drama, documentaries and entertainment productions in Norway and internationally. Gard has also produced a large number of short–films, music videos and commercials.
In 2003 he produced the feature film "Play" (Co–production with Dinamo Story) and the documentary "Home of the brave – Land of the free". His current function in Basic TV is that of producer⁄ director, and amongst his most recent projects is the documentary "Dishonored" featuring the Pakistani multiple rape–victim Mukhtar Mai, the deep–sea diving documentary series "Collateral Damage", and the Iranian documentary⁄exposé "Forbidden future", as well as being responsible for developing new projects.


Journalist/ Researcher

Jan Rustad

Jan has more than 25 years of working experience as a journalist. He has worked in printed media, as well as extensively in network radio and television. As well as reporting Jan has done tours as an anchor in radio. He was also hired as the musical editor in–chief for the Norwegian national network P3 at its inception as a part of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.
Jan works for Basic TV as a journalist, researcher and language consultant, and has most recently been the journalist in charge of developing the oil–industry documentaries "Collateral Damage" and "Operation Cormorant Alpha" . Jan is currently working in the developing phase of several new projects for Basic TV.


Editor

Gørill Hansen

Gørill is 26 years old and graduated from Nordic Institute of stage and studio here in Oslo in 2007 as an film and video editor.
Prior to that she completed a Bachelor of arts multimedia–course at the Victoria University of Technology.
She has previously done production assistant work on music videos, and worked as an editing assistant for production companies in Australia.
Gørills primary assignment at Basic TV is as an editing assistant on "Dishonored" and "The Hunt For The Christmas Scoundrel", but she will be filling similar functions on the other productions as well as an editor.


Producer and actor

Nasrullah Qureshi

Nasrullah has 15 plus years of experience as an actor and producer in Pakistan and Norway. Amongst his production asignments are "Heartbeat" ("Hjertebank") 1993, Qsoor 1995 and Jaan Jaan Pakistan 1997. Currently he has recently finished as Line producer on "Baadshah", the first ever Bollywoodproduction to be shot in Norway, featuring Shah Rukh Khan. He also worked as a line producer on the 2005 production of "Izzat".
Nasrullah has acting experience from the Norwegian television soap "Seven sisters" 1997–2000, and the films "Olsenbandens siste stikk" 1999, "Capo Nord" (Italy) 2003 and "Elling – Elsk meg i morgen" 2005.
Nasrullah has also co–produced the asian adpation of Henrik Ibsens play "Fruen fra havet", which was staged in Oslo in 2006 under the name "Fruen Fra det Indiske Hav".
Nasrullah is also the co–founder and serves on the comittee of the annual film festival "Bollywoodfest" that's been held in Oslo every year since 2003. The festival features the best of Indian cinema and dance.
Nasrullah is currently producing the international documentary "Dishonored" for Basic TV.
